量子重力のホログラフィー原理

トポロジカルな弦理論についての連続講義（プリンストン高等研究所）

場の量子論、量子重力、超弦理論などの数学的構造を明らかにすることで、自然界の基本法則の理解を深め、物理学の基礎的な問題を解決するための理論的手法を開発することを目指して研究をしています。

特に、超弦理論の計算のためにトポロジカルな弦理論の手法を開発し、それを使ってブラックホールの量子状態を解明しました。また、共形場の理論、カラビ・ヤウ多様体上のDブレーン、AdS/CFT対応、超対称性をもつゲージ理論の性質とその超弦理論との関係についても研究をしてきました。最近は、量子重力の基本原理による低エネルギー有効理論への制限についても探究しています。
